In 2008 William began to devote himself fully to coffee cultivation, planting varieties such as Catimor, Typica, and Caturra. During those years, he worked very hard, but over time realised that it was not as profitable as he had hoped. Even so, he never lost his passion to keep going and in 2020 decided to take another step forward and invest in speciality varieties such as Geisha. It was a big challenge for him because he had to adapt the plants to his area and deal with pest problems such as coffee leaf rust and anthracnose, which had a significant impact on the crop and his harvests. With effort, learning and dedication, he overcame these difficulties, and today continues to work with the same passion as always seeking to improve coffee quality wherever possible.
